In today's episode of Kidz Pow3r, I interview Mariah and Tyshawn of Black Characters Matter
Meet two amazing young kids who are making an important difference. They have created “Black Characters Matter.” They realized there were not many books at school featuring African American children like them and they have been on a mission to raise money to change this by getting books featuring African American and characters of color into school libraries.
It was amazing to interview 9 year old Mariah and 6 year old Tyshawn and I look forward to watching what they accomplish on this important mission
